I am a retired teacher and school administrator from southern New Jersey. I taught computer education to students and adults since the early 1980's. I was pivotal in my school district's purchase of the first Mac's in 1984.
Consequently, I did freelance work for Apple Computers at educator conventions. Apple's user friendly graphic interface appealed to me, and lends well to my graphic design passion. It was also easy to teach others how to use the Apple OS, which was duplicated with MS Windows.
My dad introduced me to helping people with technology in the early 1950's when he took me on TV/Radio Repair calls to people's homes. Although he did this on a part time basis, I learned the value of patience and "stick-to-it-ness," from him as well as pride in a job well done. His influence affected my brother as well, who is now a a great dad himself, and a computer engineer.
